What Our World Needs Now

 A Christmas Heart...

Let us remember that the Christmas heart is a giving heart, a wide open heart that thinks of others first.

 Today's Meditation... Look Hard

For today's meditation, we turn to Georgio Morandi, who is
regarded as one of the great realist painters of the 20th
century. Morandi notes:

One can travel this world and see nothing. To
achieve understanding it is necessary not to
see many things, but to look hard at what you
do see.

Right now, this very moment, breathe in, hold for a second,
exhale.

Repeat three times.

Now, shift and focus in on something in your immediate
field of vision.

It can be anything... a pencil, a flower on your desk, a
pattern in the fabric on your cubicle, whatever.

Just focus on this thing and look at it hard, really hard.

Don't think about it.

Just look and be at one with it.

Breathe with it, hold with it, relax with it.

And let go!

 God's love....

Today's morning devotional....

Good Morning and My Sistas and Brothers in Christ, I know that all is well this morning. We are here and we are blessed. Saints, GOD is love, peace and joy. These are the fruits of the spirit. Think about this. You can't take the wet out of water. You can't take the heat out of fire. In the same way, you can't take the love out of GOD......and still have him exist. For he was....and is LOVE. Probe deep within him. Explore every corner. Search every angle. Love is all you find. LOVE. No bitterness. No evil. No cruelty. Just LOVE. Flawless LOVE. Passionate LOVE. vast pure LOVE. HE IS LOVE.

I know that God has me covered from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet. ALL is well and he is with me and I know that each of you are with me too. It is called LOVE and I thank you all for it. Take care of yourselves. Keep praying, keep knowing that you are blessed to be a blessing and most of all the GOD loves you and I do too. Have a blessed day and I love each of you real good.

Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that he is rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.----Hebrews 11:6

TO FIND GOD, WE MUST BE WILLING TO SEEK HIM. AMEN AND AMEN.

Dear Heavenly Father, I praise You and thank You for all the friends You have given me. What a wonderful blessing! Lord, I also want to thank You for every brother and sister in the great big family of God throughout the whole world. It is such a blessing to get to meet and fellowship with so many of them and to know them by the spirit. And Lord, I look forward to the day that I will get to meet many others, as I know when we get to heaven, I will get to see them face to face there. It is wonderful to be a member of the family of God and to know that we are all going to be blessed and enjoy one another's company throughout eternity. Thank You, Lord! In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

I really love this devotional this morning because there is an overwhelming simple truth in it. God IS LOVE. No bitterness. No evil. No cruelty. Just LOVE. Flawless LOVE. Passionate LOVE. Vast pure LOVE. GOD IS LOVE

If each of us allowed God's pure love to shine through us do you know what a difference that would make to the world we live in today?

Can you imagine a world without violence... a world without greed.... a world without hatred and bitterness... a world without pain and suffering.... a world without hunger and anger and corruptness and vengeance... and so on and so on.

What if we lived in a world where the abundance of love flowed through each of us and we all lived together for the greater good, helped one another, cared for one another and loved one another?

Is it an impossibility in this day and age? Yes maybe so... however...

With God all things are possible.

Let God's radiant love shine down upon you and melt away all the worries of tomorrow, all the sadness of yesterday and give us hope and peace for our future.

Love one another, feel God's wonderful abundant love within you. Let that love guide your thoughts, your actions and your words.

Let go and let God.

 Struggles and Purpose...

Life Struggles

A man found a cocoon of an emperor moth. He took it home so that he could watch the moth come out of the cocoon. On the day a small opening appeared, he sat and watched the moth for several hours as the moth struggled to force the body through that little hole.

The moth seemed to be stuck and appeared to have stopped making progress. It seemed as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could go no farther. The man, in his kindness, decided to help the moth; so he took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The moth then emerged easily. But its body was swollen and small, its wings wrinkled and shriveled.

The man continued to watch the moth because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to and able to support the body, which would contract in time. Neither happened! In fact, the little moth spent the rest of its life crawling around with a small, swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly.

The man in his kindness and haste did not understand that the struggle required for the moth to get through the tiny opening was necessary to force fluid from the body of the moth into its wings so that it would be ready for flight upon achieving its freedom from the cocoon. Freedom and flight would only come after the struggle. By depriving the moth of a struggle, he deprived the moth of health.

Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If we were to go through our life without any obstacles, we would be crippled. We would not be as strong as what we could have been. Give every opportunity a chance, leave no room for regrets, and don't forget the power in the struggle.

There is real power in the struggle and it has much more impact on your life when you make your way through a difficult journey to get to the other side.

You appreciate it way more than if you had sailed through and not learned what the experience had to teach you.

Living purpose

Your purpose is not to fear or to frighten. Your purpose is not to control or to be controlled.

Your purpose is to live, to love and to experience life in a way that is uniquely yours. Your purpose is to be open to the newness and reality of every moment, giving joy a living expression.

Your purpose is to give the miracle of life a distinct voice. It is to know and to treasure moments of pure beauty for which there are no words.

The challenges may be profound, and yet they cannot challenge or diminish your purpose. On the contrary, those challenges help you to understand and express your purpose more clearly.

The world can at times distract you into caring about mere shadows of life that have no real meaning. Yet always, beneath the surface, your living purpose is there.

Remember that purpose, and let its value flow freely from you with each thought, feeling and action. Live from your purpose and be fully alive.

-- Ralph Marston

I couldn't have said it better.

Your purpose is to live, to love and to experience life in a way that is uniquely yours.

Remember that purpose, and let its value flow freely from you with each thought, feeling and action.
